We take environmental protection very seriously in all models of the Royal Wood series. Therefore, we use wood as a renewable raw material under strict personal inspections from our wood suppliers.

Construction process:

For our grand piano Schimmel Royal Wood C169, we have selected only the best – exotic woods with a special character. These woods must be crafted with both great care and the highest art of workmanship in the technique of veneer.

Veneer is particularly suitable for resource-saving processing, as several thousand square meters of veneer can be produced from a single tree trunk.

As a natural product, wood has color differences and irregularities related to growth. The color, structure, and grain of each tree are unique and make each instrument special!
